Job Description

MAU is hiring a Project Manager for our client in Parsippany, NJ. As a Project Manager, you will lead the integration of a new tank farm project, acting as the primary liaison between internal stakeholders and the General Contractor (GC) to ensure smooth execution and alignment with project goals. This is a 12-month contract position.

Shift Information

• Monday to Friday | 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM

General Requirements

• Demonstrated success in project management, particularly within industrial or manufacturing settings
• In-depth knowledge of project management methodologies and tools
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration across diverse teams
• Proven ability to perform under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and overseeing complex projects
• Bachelor’s degree - preferred
• Prior experience in industrial construction or process introduction - preferred

Essential Functions

• Oversee project execution, ensuring alignment with established schedules and budgets
• Track progress, proactively identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to maintain project momentum
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and successful outcomes
• Address project challenges and roadblocks proactively, escalating critical issues to stakeholders for timely resolution
• Collaborate with the General Contractor (GC) and subcontractors to mitigate risks and drive efficient project completion
• Manage and integrate subcontractor activities related to the installation of machine tool equipment
• Ensure subcontractors meet timelines, quality standards, and project specifications
• Provide technical guidance leveraging industrial construction or process introduction expertise
• Communicate effectively with engineering and operations teams to align technical aspects with project goals
