MUST HAVE AT LEAST ONE YEAR OF INVERTER REPAIR TECHNICIAN EXPERIENCE

Connect Staffing is looking for a dedicated Repair Technician to join a leading solar distribution company in North Houston!

Schedule:  Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm (Occasional overtime)

Repair Technician Requirements:

• Must have at least one year of inverter repair technician experience.
• Must be able to pass a background and drug screen.
• Able to lift up to 60lbs..
• Able to use screwdrivers, torque wrenches, multimeters, and wire cutters.
• Prior experience in roles such as a Solar PV Technician, Renewable Energy Technician, Electrical Technician, or Maintenance Engineer is a big plus!

Repair Technician Responsibilities:

• Repair solar electric devices by replacing board components.
• Conduct testing and calibration of inverters after repairs or installations to ensure they meet performance specifications. 
• Diagnose and identify issues with solar inverters, including electrical, mechanical, and communication problems.
• Replace faulty components such as capacitors, circuit boards, transformers, and other parts within inverters.
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, maintenance activities, and inventory of spare parts used for inverters.
• Assist installation teams with inverter commissioning, troubleshooting startup issues, and providing technical support.
