Senior Java Developer with AWS experience Description

We are seeking a highly experienced remote Senior Java Developer with expertise in AWS to join our team.

The successful candidate will take responsibility for understanding the marketing data pipeline, maintaining data pipelines, and developing scripts and tools based on the new marketing campaign's requirements.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot data pipeline issues and follow up with partner teams for troubleshooting
• Support the marketing technology team in various development and maintenance activities
• Work on one or more databases from Oracle, Teradata, AWS Redshift
• Understand the marketing data pipeline and daily activities
• Develop scripts and tools based on new marketing campaign and data pipeline requirements

Requirements

• At least 4 years of experience in Java development
• Experience with Spring
• Extensive knowledge of AWS services such as S3, Lambda, EC2, AWS Glue Job, and Athena
• Experience working with Bash scripts in a Linux OS environment
• Understanding of ETL, columnar vs. row-based databases
• B2+ English level

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Hadoop (Presto)
