Urban Renewal Consignment is seeking a permanent, part time associate to grow with us at 3139 Cobb Parkway NW, Suite 130 in Kennesaw, Ga. With almost 13 years in women’s clothing, handbag, shoe and accessory resale in Cobb County, UR is an established alternative to fast fashion. We combine our love of community, fashion and sustainability to provide a unique boutique shopping and consignment experience. UR is hiring for an entry level position with expectations of future growth in our organization.

What You Get To Do Everyday

Greet Customers and deliver an excellent customer service experience

Assist Customers with fitting rooms and items in display cases

Drive sales through client engagement, suggestive selling and product knowledge

Educate clients on UR consignment and appointment policies, and general questions

Put clothing, shoes, handbags and accessories away in respective places

Integrate new merchandise onto the sales floor

Organize racks by color and size. Organize shoe/handbag/jewelry displays

Re-setting displays and mannequins as needed

Utilize social media to create attractive & creative posts/reels/videos

Utilize POS to assist customers with purchases

Daily support tasks such as replenishing supplies and merchandise

Follow opening and closing procedures & all UR policies and procedures

Loss prevention

Other duties as assigned

What You Bring To UR

Enthusiasm and eagerness to learn the fundamentals of store roles and responsibilities including, but not limited to consignment, client communication, visual presentation, store organization and social media

Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Knowledge of clothing brands, labels, fashion and current trends

Meticulous eye for detail and high standards regarding merchandise

Genuine passion and enthusiasm for the customer experience

Positive, friendly demeanor with the ability to represent UR with integrity and professionalism

Self motivated with desire to achieve results

Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent time management skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task

Adaptability and willingness to learn quickly and master new skills

Receptiveness to training and feedback to improve performance

Physical functions: Ability to stand for the entirety of shift; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch; use hands/fingers to type and handle merchandise; ability to lift/move up to 10 lbs; use vision including up close and for small print.

UR offers a flexible part time schedule. Ability to work weekends on a rotating basis is required. UR offers employee discounts and consignment perks.
