Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Data Entry Clerk to join our team. This role is critical in ensuring accurate and efficient handling of various documents and data. As a Data Entry Clerk, you will be responsible for gathering, organizing, and inputting a variety of data into the company's systems. Attention to detail and the ability to work with large volumes of information are essential. 

Job Title: Data Entry Clerk 

Pay Rate: $18 per hour

Responsibilities: 

• Collecting invoices, statements, reports, personal details, documents, and other pertinent information from employees, departments, and clients. 
• Reviewing and scanning documents to identify important details and organize them accordingly. 
• Correcting errors and ensuring information is captured in an accurate and optimized manner. 
• Creating and maintaining accurate spreadsheets for record-keeping and analysis. ● Entering and updating data into the company's relevant databases. 
• Ensuring data is regularly backed up to prevent loss of information. 
• Notifying relevant parties about any errors or issues encountered during the data entry process. 
• Organizing and storing hard copies of data in a manner that facilitates quick retrieval. ● Performing additional duties as assigned by supervisors or management. 

Requirements: 

• High school diploma or equivalent. 
• At least 1 year of experience in a similar role. 
• Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken. ● Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel. 
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. 
• Ability to focus for long periods while maintaining accuracy and speed in data entry tasks. 
• Proficient touch typing skills with attention to detail.
